Fresh!

The 1st Joomla Day Nigeria held on December 21st, 2007 at University of Lagos Guest House Committee Room C. In attendance was a total of half a dozen people. Half a dozen, and two developers This cut across "Expert" 


There were two presentations made by Adesemowo Oyebade.

The first presentation titled "Joomla What?" was a short overview of what joomla is. The powerpoint presentation was used is located here. A blank Joomla installation was performed on an apache server. This was used to show  the "powers" of Joomla!

The second presentation was about joomla 1.0.x templates. The structure of a typical J! template was explored. "madeyourweb" was ripped apart for demonstrations.


Questions were asked during the 2 sessionsat the end of both sessions. Vanguard Online Site raised some interest, components used in the deployment were discussed.

Light refreshment was also available.
